Answer:
Given the equation kx(x - 2) + 6 = 0 Or, kx² - 2kx + 6 = 0 ; has equal roots.
Therefore ,
Dicriminant , "D" = 0
Or, b² - 4ac = 0 ------------ A.
putting the values from the equation in A. ;
=> (-2kx)² - 4 (kx²)(6) = 0
=> 4k²x² = 24kx²
=> k = 6
