given, the roots of the quadratic equation is 6 times the other
now let as assume one of the root of the quadratic equation is x
other is 6x
we know that .....
sum of the roots is -b/a
x+6x=-(-14)/p
7x=14p
x=2p.............(1)
product of the roots is c/a
x*6x=8/p
6x²=8p
3x²=4p
from (1)
3[4p²]=4p
12p=4
p=1/3
