DefinitionInertia can be described as a property or tendency of an object that resists any change to its state of motion.Momentum can be described as the resistance to stop. Moving bodies are associated with momentum as it is inertia in motion.inertia is scalar momentum is vectorinertia depends only on mass but momemtum depends on mass and velocity

Royvaidehi: But can u old help me with the associated data of the velocities provided in the question???
Royvaidehi: Pls*
Deekshii1: kk
Deekshii1: since inertia is measure of mass which is same for both bodies the ratio of inertia will be 1:1
Deekshii1: in the given case p1 =m x v
Royvaidehi: OK
Deekshii1: and p2 =m x 2v
Deekshii1: the ratio is p1 : p2 = 1 : 2
Deekshii1: the ratio isv = 1 : 2
