Answer:

The equations are:

i) 3x + y - 1 = 0

ii)(2k - 1)x + (k-1)y - 2k +1 = 0

The condition for two equations to have no solution is:

 \frac{a1}{a2}  =  \frac{b1}{b2}  \: is \: not \: equal \: to \:  \frac{c1}{c2}

=> 3/(2k - 1) = 1/(k-1) ≠ -1/1

=>3k - 3 = 2k - 1

=> 3k - 2k = 3 - 1

=> k = 2

Therefore, k = 2 is the answer
