For what value if "k" will the consecutive terms :
2k + 1,
3k + 3
&
5k - 1.
form an AP

AP-. 2k+1 , 3k+3 , 5k-1..........

we know that,

a2-a1= d ; &. a2-a1=d

then,

3k+3-(2k+1) = 5k-1 - (3k+3)

3k+3-2k-1= 5k-1-3k-3

1k+2= 2k-4

2+4= 2k-1k

6=k

k=6"

to check,

if we apply value of k in AP, we get,

13,21,29........

wkt,.

21-13 = 29-21

then, 8= 8"
