2X-1=0

X=1/2

PUT X=1/2 IN THE POLYNOMIAL

2 (1/2)^2 + A(1/2)^2 + 11 (1/2) + A +3 = 0

2/4 + 4/4 + 11/2 + A + 3 = 0

1/2 + 4 + 11/2 + A = 0

1/2 + 8/2 + 11/2 + 2A/2 = 0

20+2A/2 = 0

20 + 2A = 0

2A = -20

A = -20/2

A = -10

SO THE VALUE OF 'A' IS -10
