-2 is zero of 3x² +4x +2k polynomial

hence, put x = -2 in polynomial and equate to zero

e.g
3(-2)² + 4(-2) + 2k = 0
3 × 4 -4 × 2 + 2k = 0
12 - 8 + 2k = 0
4 + 2k = 0
K = -2

hence, value of K = -2

Hello there !

-2 is zero of the quadratic polynomial 3x² +4x +2k

Put the value "-2" in the equation.

3(-2)² + 4(-2) + 2k = 0

3 × 4 + 4 × -2 + 2k = 0

12 + [-8] + 2k = 0

4 + 2k = 0

2k = -4
k = -4/2

k = -2

Hence ,
the the value of k in the quadratic polynomial 3x² +4x +2k is -2

Hope this Helps You !!!
