P(x) = 2x²+x+k
since, 3 is the zero of the polynomial then, p(3) = 0
P(3) = 2(3)²+(3)+k
0 = 18+3+k
0 = 21+k
k = -21
hope this helps

Anonymous: minor mistakes are there
Anonymous: p(x) = 2x2 + x + k
