Hii friend,

P(X) = X+Kx +4

P(4) = 4 + K × 4 + 4

=> 8+4K = 0

=> 4K = -8

=> K = -8/4

=> K = -2

Hey

Here is your answer,

If 4 is a zero of the given polynomial, substitute 4 in the places of x.
x+kx+4=0
4+4k+4=0
8+4k=0
4k=-8
k=-8/4
k=-2

Hope it helps you!
