▶️(-4)²+(4)-(2k+2)=0

▶️16+4-2k-2=0

▶️18-2k=0

▶️18=2k

▶️k=18/2=9.

$x^2 -x -(2k+2)$ = 0

Putting the value.

$(-4)^2 -(-4) -2k -2$  = 0

16 + 4 -2k -2 = 0

20-2 -2k = 0


18=  2k 

18/2 =k

9 = k
