hey mate

given polynomial

x²-x-2(2k+2)=0. ....(1)

if -4 is a zeroes of polynomial (1)

then,

x=-4, exist this polynomial

so,

put x=-4,

(-4)²-(-4)-(2k+2)=0

16 +. 4 -2k-2=0

2k=18

k=9.

thus:

value of k= 9

i hopes its helps u.

Answer:

k =9

Step-by-step explanation:

Given ,-4 is zero of polynomial

Therefore, = x²-x-(2k+2)

= (-4)² - (-4) -(2k+2) =O

= 16 +4 -2k-2=0

= 18-2k =0

= -k = -9

= k=9

Hope it helps
