Hi friends, here is your answer :-

Now :-

there is a constant k which we don't know. Now if we substitute some value in place of k we will get -4 as the answer. So now we know from the question that value of x is -4.

So:-

2x-x-2k+3= 0

=> 2(-4)-(-4)-2k+2= 0

=> -8+4-2k+2= 0

=> -2-2k =0

=> k= 2/-2 => k= -1

If we substitute -1 in place of k and -4 in place of x the expression will be equal to 0.
