hello users..........

given equation is 3x² +2kx +27 = 0
and the roots of the equation are real and equal

we have to find the value of k = ?

solution:-
we know that
if the roots of the equation are real and equal
then ,
there the discriminant (D ) = 0

=> b² -4ac = 0
here
a= 3 ,b = 2k , c = 27

now

(2k)² - 4×3×27 = 0
=> 4k² - 324 = 0
=> 4k² = 324
=> k² = 81
=> k = ± 9 answer

⭐⭐ hope it helps ⭐⭐
