SOLUTION;___✍️

Here, a= 9, b= 3k, c= 4

therefore= D= b^2- 4ac= (3k)^2- 4×9×4= 9k^2-144

Roots are equal, if D=0

=9k^2-144=0

=9k^2=144

=9k^2-144=0

=k^2-16=0

=k^2-(4)^2=0

=(k+4) (k-4)=0

=k+4=0 or k-4=0

=k= 4 Answer.
