2x³ + x + k = 0

27 × 2 + 3 + k = 0

54 + 3 + k = 0

k = - 57 Ans.

putting value of x in given eqn, we get.

2(3)^3+(3)+k=0

2×27+3+k=0

54+3+k=0

57+k=0

k=-57
