hello users .......

we have given polynomial :
         2x² + x + k = 0

we have to find:
 the value of k = ? for which ' 3 ' is a zero of the given polynomial .

solution :-
because ' 3' is zero or root of polynomial
then ,
put x = 3 in given polynomial.

we get ;
2 × 3² + 3 + k = 0

=> 18 + 3 + k = 0

=> k = - 21 answer
