Using Remainder Theorem

(x + 2) = 0

x = -2

Therefore, 2x³ - 4kx² - 6x + 6 = 0 If, x = -2

Substituting x = -2

-16 - 16k + 12 + 6 = 0

2 - 16k = 0

k = 1/8
