p(x)= x³-11x²+kx-10

g(x)= x+3

To get zero of p(x), g(x) = 0

x+3=0

=>x=-3

Therefore, -3 is the zero of p(x)

p(x)=(-3)³-(11)(-3)²+k(-3)-10

= -136-3k

It is given that g(x) is a a factor of p(x)

Therefore,

-136-3k=0

=> k=-136/3

For k=-136/3, g(x) is the factor of p(x).
