For What value of K the following system of equation
2x + ky = 1 \\ 3x - 3y = 7
has unique solution

Hey friend,

For unique solution a1/a2 is not = b1/b2

So in the question,

a1 = 2, a2 = 3

b1 = k, b2 = -3

So,

2/3 is not = k/-3

Cross multiplying,

2×-3 not= 3k

-6 not= 3k

k is not = -6/3

k is not = -2

So all other numbers except -2 can be the value for k.

K is need not to be -2

Hence the k is not is equal to -2
