3x+y-3=0 ___________{i}

6x+ky-8=0___________{ii}

a_1=3 , b_1=1 , c_1=(-3)a_2=6 , b_2=k , c_2=(-8)

If \frac{a_1}{a_2} =\frac{b_1}{b_2}  \neq \frac{c_1}{c_2} has no solutions

3/6 = 1/k ≠ (-3)/(-8)

3/6 = 1/k

3k = 6 _____( cross multiplication )

k = 6/3

k = 2
