For what value of k, the pair of linear equations kx − 4y = 3, 6x − 12y = 9 has infinitely many solutions?

For infinitely many solutions
a1 \div a2 = b1 \div b2 = c1 \div c2
a1 = k, a2 = 6, b1 = -4, b2 = -12, c1 = 3 c2 = 9
K/6 = -4/-12
K/6 = 1/3
3k = 6
K= 6/3
k = 2
