Hi ,

Let a1 = k + 9 ,

a2 = 2k ,

a3 = 2k + 7

are the three consecutive terms of an A.P

we know that ,

a2 - a1 = a3 - a2

2k - ( k + 9 ) = 2k + 7 - 2k

2k - k - 9 = 7

k = 7 + 9

k = 16

I hope this helps you.
