Let p(x) = x^3-2mx^2+16 and g(x)=(x+2)
or,g(x)=0
or,x+2 =0
or, x= -2
p(-2)= (-2)^3-2m×(-2)^2+16
= -8-2m+4+16
=-8+20-2m
= 12-2m
2m=12
m=12/2
m= 6
hope this help
