Hey!!!
We will put the value of x = -4 in the polynomial

=> (-4)² - 2(-4) -(7p + 3) = 0

=> 16 + 8 - 7p - 3 = 0

=> 7p = 21

=> p = 3

Hope this helps

Hey

Here is your answer,

(-4)^2-2x(-4)-(7p+3)=0
16+8=7p+3
24-3=7p
21/7=p
P=3

Hope it helps you!
