since -4 is a zero of given polynomial
thus it satisfies eqn
 {x}^{2} - 2x - (2p + 3) = 0 \\ { - 4}^{2} - 2( - 4) - (2p + 3)] = 0 \\ 16 + 8 - 2p - 3 = 0 \\ 21 - 2p = 0 \\ p = \frac{21}{2}
