Answer:

If -4 is a zero of polynomial then at x = -4 the value of polynomial is zero

x^2 - 2x - (7p + 3)

(-4)^2 - 2(-4) -  (7p + 3) = 0

16 + 8 - 7p - 3 = 0

p = 3
