In AP

2*13=(2p+1)+(5p-3)

26=7p-2

7p=28

p=28/7=4

In AP the common difference remain same

so,

a2-a1 = a3-a2

13 -(2p + 1) = (5p-3) - 13

13-2p-1 = 5p-3-13

12-2p. = 5p -16

12 + 16. = 5p +2p

28. = 7p

p = 4
