pi+pj+pk is the given vector.

For the vector to be unit, it's magnitude must be 1.

=>

 \sqrt{ {p}^{2} + {p}^{2}  +  {p}^{2} }  \:  = 1 \\   \sqrt{3 {p}^{2} }  = 1 \\ p =   + \frac{1}{3} or \:  -  \frac{1}{3}
