Ans:- as the roots are equal

D = b^2 -4ac = 0

(p+3)^2 - 4(6p+1)(p+8) = 0

p^2 +6p +9 - 4(6p^2+ 49p +8) = 0

p^2 + 6p +9 - 24p^2 - 196p - 32 = 0

23p^2 + 190p - 23 = 0

by applying quadratic formula

p = (- 95 + √9554)/23 and (- 95 + √9554)/23
