√b^2-4ac < 0

=>√(-2p-3)^2-4(p+5)(p-1) < 0

=>4p^2+9+12p-4(p^2-p+5p-5) < 0

=>4p^2+9+12p-4p^2-16p+20 < 0

=>29-4p < 0

=>p < 29/4
