as these terms are in AP
so 2(2k-1) = k + 9 +2k + 7
=> 4k - 2 = 3k +16
=> k = 16 +2
hence k = 18
so 2(2k-1) = k + 9 +2k + 7
=> 4k - 2 = 3k +16
=> k = 16 +2
hence k = 18
