First we have the find the ratio of line dividing so,
Y =m2x1+m1x2/m1+m2
Let the ratio be k:1
6=1×3+k×2/k+1
Cross multiplying
→6k+6=3+2k
=4k=-3
K=-3/4
K is not equal to (-) so,
K=3/4
For finding the value of x ,we use the formula x=m1x2+m2x1/m1+m2
→x=3×3+4×2/4+3
X=9+6/7
X=15/7
Y =m2x1+m1x2/m1+m2
