Rupee Note with HA serial numbers are now a rare and collectible items. The rupee notes with the serial Number HA on it was introduced by the RBI according to the act of parliament in 1959 in order to make the mecca and Medina pilgrimage more easy for the Muslim people.
The note is also known as the Gulf Note as it has been used as a medium of exchange in Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar and parts of Muscat.
