Given:-

  • Force applied = 10N

  • Mass of Body = 2kg

  • Time Taken = 3s

  • Initial velocity = 0m/s

To Find:-

  • The Kinetic energy after 3s

Formulae used:-

  • F = ma

  • v = u + at

  • K. E = ½ × m × v²

Where,

  • v = Final velocity
  • u = Initial velocity
  • a = Acceleration
  • K. E = Kinetic energy
  • m = Mass

Now,

First we will find the Acceleration

→ F = ma

→ 10 = 2 × a

→ a = 10/2

→ a = 5m/s²

The Acceleration due to force is 5m/s²

Now,

→ v = u + at

→ v = u + 5 × 3

→ v = 0 + 15

→ v = 15m/s

Hence, The Final velocity is 15m/s

Therefore,

→ K. E = ½ × mv²

→ K. E = ½ × 2 × (15)²

→ K. E = 15 × 15

→ K. E = 225J

Hence, The Kinetic energy after 3s is 225J.
