Forces of 30N, 40N, and 50N act along the sides
AB, BC and CA of an equilateral triangle ABC. The
triangle is of mass 0.5 kg and kept in a vertical
plane as shown in figure, with the side AB vertical.

I think there is some error in options. Because as per my calculations the correct answer should be 10N upwards. (P/s - I might be wrong too!)

Using the concept of resolution of Vectors we will get a force of 30 + 5 N in downward direction and force of 45N in upward direction l. Hence, net external force is 10N in upward direction.
