Answer:

this is the factorisation by middle term spliting and if u want value of x then equate each of the equation by 0

like this:-(x+4)=0 , X=4

(3X-4)=0, X=4/3

Step-by-step explanation:

 {3x }^{2}  +  \sqrt{8} x - 16 = 0

we can write

 \sqrt{8}  = 2 \sqrt{2}

Therefore,

6 \sqrt{2}x  - 4 \sqrt{2 }x  = 2 \sqrt{2} x

and

6 \sqrt{2}x \times  -  4 \sqrt{2}x  = 48x

Therefore

3 {x}^{2}  + 6 \sqrt{2}x  - 4 \sqrt{2}x   - 16 = 0

3x( x + 2 \sqrt{2} ) - 4 \sqrt{2} (x + 2 \sqrt{2})  - 16 = 0

(3  x -  4\sqrt{2})  + (x + 2 \sqrt{2} )

Therefore,

the roots are

 x =  \frac{4 \sqrt{2} }{3} and \: x =  - 2 \sqrt{2}

I hope this will help you
