The plants providing oxygen for animal respiration and also absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, In this way it helps in maintaining the balance of oxygen and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere forest also influence climate ,water cycle, air quality that's the reason called forest as green lungs
