hey mate here is your answer...

A forest fire is an uncontrolled fire occurring in nature. Sometimes, the forest fire is so large that it takes a long time for the fire fighting crews to gain control over the situation. This could result in massive destruction. In Norway, an average of about 1100 forest fires occur each year.

What is forest fire and its causes?
Natural Causes. Lightning is the biggest natural cause of forest fires. The different lightning strokes of varied electric voltages cause fire through directly igniting vegetation with high currents. Lightning fires are always more common immediately after dry seasons when vegetation is still dry.

hope it helps you mark it brainliest if you like :-)
