A forest is a renewable resource because a forest consists of trees and trees as do animals grow, so if you cut a tree down another tree will take its place eventually. Forest also store carbon dioxide from the air, making it better for humans and animals to breath, and it doesn't work through fossil fuels.

Forests are renewable resources as by afforestation that is, by planting more trees we can restore the forest of an area.
