Answer:
Forests are usually called lungs of the planet and this is really so - the colossal massifs of vegetation provide oxygen to all life. But apart from this, they are the regulator of the average temperature on the planet and the concentration of carbon dioxide.
Forests are breathing lungs of civilization as Forest's consists of many flora, flauna and trees. So trees plays an important aspect in all living organisms who need oxygen to survive so plants give o2 to us so that we can survive.
From forests we can get many useful things such as woods for furniture ,timber for making paper, herbs and sherbs for making medicines.
