Let us say we have given prizes of Rs 500 to N persons and Rs 100 prizes to (200-N) persons. The total amount is,

Rs 80,000 = Rs 500 N + (200 - N) Rs 100
800 = 5 N + 200 - N = 4 N + 200

4 N = 600
N = 150

So the prizes of Rs 500 are given to 150 persons and the prizes of Rs 100 are given to 50 persons.

consider the number of people who received ₹500 is X, then the number of people receiving the reward of ₹300=(200-X)

according to the question,
80000=500*X+300(200-X)
80000-60000=500X-300X
