Forests are no more a safer place for elephants.why?

Forests are not safer for elephants as hunting and poaching can take place in forests that may kill them and they species may get extinct

due to deforestation and clearing up of the forests elephants don't get place to live and are attacked by hunters for their ivory. thus elephants are not safe in forests.
