Forests are the gift of nature. We find different kinds of forest in different region. Some forests appear green all the year round. These forests are restricted to heavy rainfall areas of western Ghars and island groups of Lakshadweep, Andaman and Nicobar, upper parts of Assam and Tamil Nadu coast. They are at their best in areas having more than 200 cm of rainfall with a short dry season. The trees reach great heights of 260 metres or even above. Since the region is warm and wet throughout the year, it has a luxurious vegetation of all kinds __ trees, shrubs and creepers giving it a multilayered structure.   2. Their tree's density is very high, so we are enable to cut the trees.
