Hey dear I think this can be ur answer...
According to question,
Let sagar's age be x and vijay's be y
So, 5 years ago,
x-5=2(y-5)
x-5=2y-10
x-2y =-5-__(1)
Now, ten years later,
x+10=y+10+10
x=y+10-__(2)
Substituting (2)in (1),
(y+10)-2y=-5
-y+10=-5
y=15years - age of vijay
Now, x=y+10=15+10=25years - age of sagar
When vijay was born (y=0), x=y+10=10years
Sagar was 10years of age.....
Hope it was helpful......

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the age of Raj 5 yrs ago = x years

then, Ravi's age 5 yrs ago = 3x years

Now, present age of Raj = (x + 5) yrs

       present age of Ravi = (3x + 5) yrs

Raj's age after 5 yrs = (x + 5 + 5) years = (x + 10) yrs

Ravi's age after 5 yrs = (3x + 5 + 5) years = (3x + 10) yrs

According to question:3x + 10 = 2 (x + 10)⇒ 3x + 10 = 2x + 20⇒ 3x − 2x = 20 − 10⇒ x = 10So,

present age of Raj = 10 + 5 = 15 years

present age of Ravi = 3 × 10 + 5 = 35 years
