Step-by-step explanation:

if the given are roots of the eq

so (x-2+√5)(x-2-√5)= 0

by solving eq we get

x(x-2-√5)-2(x-2-√5)+√5(x-2-√5)

= x²-2x-√5x-2x+4+2√5+√5x-2√5-5

the -√5 and +√5 , +2√5 and - 2√5 will cancel each other we get

x²-2x-2x+4-5

x²-4x-1 is the quadratic eq
