Let alpha = -3 beeta = -1

x square - (alpha+beeta) x + (alpha*beeta)

x sq - (-3+(-1)) x + (-3*-1)

x sq - (-3-1) x + 3

x sq - (-4) x + 3

x sq + 4x +3
