First of all, you must know what 'Algebraic expressions' are?
It is an mathematical expression involving integers, variable, operations etc.
Now to answer your question.
(a) product of numbers p and q subtracted from 10
We know that product of two no.s p and q will be equal to pq. Subtracting from 10, the expression will be = 10 - pq
(b) the sum of two consecutive numbers.
Let one number be x then the other number will be x + 1 (Consecutive integers)
The sum of these consecutive integers will be x+ x+ 1= 2x + 1
