Let the length be 'l' and breadth be 'b'

Given, l = 2b - 6

2(l+b) = 240

Substituting l in the eqn., we get:

2(2b - 6 + b) = 240

        2(b - 6) = 240

         2b - 12 = 240

                2b = 240 + 12

                  b = 252 / 2

               ∴b = 176m
