1)  Age of Sohan  an Ram Together is 20 years

x = Age of Sohan

y = Age of Ram

x + y = 20

2 ) Age of  Ram after 2  years will be Equal to sohan age

=>  x + 2  = y

To Find,

Linear equation of two variables.

Solution:

Person A:

Pen=5, pencil=3 , Amount=62 rupees.

Person B:

Pen=4 ,pencil=5, Amount 60 rupees.

Let us suppose,

Price of 1 pen is =x rupees.

Price of 1 pencil is = y rupees.

5x+3y=62     ---------(i)

4x+5y=60    ----------(ii)

multiply in (i) equation *4 and (ii) equation *5.

20x+12y=248

20x+25y=300

subtract two equation we can find,

13y=52

divide both side by 13

then find,

y=4 rupees

putting the value of y=4 in (ii) equation .

4x+5y=60

4x+5*4=60

4x+20=60

4x=60-20

4x=40

x=10

price of 1 pen is =10 rupees.

price of 1 pencil is=4 rupees.
