Sender's address [ Sender's address is written on topmost line in starting of letter]

Date [after one line gap date of the day ]

Receiver's name /rank/his or her address [leaving after one line of date ]

Subject

Salutation [ A customary greeting with which sender opens the letter like Dear sir /mam]

Body of letter [ Introduction , details of service , nature of complaint , subscription , information, facility , service required, specification , date of delivery ]

Subscription and Signature [ Signing off greeting and name]
